A core goal of Yuva Nestham is economic empowerment. Toward this end, we are implementing income-generating activities (IGAs) for participants. IGAs, which include making sanitary pads and earrings, give students an opportunity to learn tangible and marketable skills, gain leadership experience, and learn about finance management and marketing.

The activities were identified through market research and feedback from students and teachers. Students have been trained by local technical experts from the business development sector.

100% of the profits from all sales are then used to fulfill school infrastructure needs such as playgrounds and water purification systems.

The schools follow stringent accounting procedures to maintain up-to-date records and are open for undergoing external audits.
